NPC Mechanic V2
Description
A realistic NPC mechanic system for your FiveM server. Your car is broken and no mechanic is online? Call an NPC mechanic. A tow truck drives to you on real roads, parks behind your car, and the mechanic repairs each damaged part one at a time with its own animation. Everyone nearby sees it happen.
Version 2 is a full rewrite: a brand new interface, a complete in-game configuration system, and a mechanic who works the car part by part instead of playing a single animation.
🔧 What the mechanic does
- Repairs part by part – kneels at each flat tyre, welds broken windows, works at the open hood for the engine and bodywork
- Drives to you on real roads – no teleporting, no spawning on top of you
- Parks behind your vehicle with hazard lights on
- Spawned server side, so everyone nearby sees the whole thing
- Greets you by your character name and tells you what he is working on
- Motorcycles get their own repair routine
- Cleans up properly on restart – no abandoned trucks or floating peds
🖥️ New interface
- Vehicle pictures and live damage bars for every car nearby
- Price for each part before you pay, so nobody pays for something that is not broken
- Collapse button shrinks the menu to the side and keeps it out of your way
- Small arrival HUD that leaves your mouse free while the mechanic drives over
⚙️ In-game configuration
You never touch a Lua file. Type /mechanicsetup and configure everything in game:
- Who can order a repair – owner only, key holders, or anyone
- Pricing per part, call-out fee, minimum and maximum, night surcharge
- The mechanic’s vehicle, appearance and animations
- No-service zones and vehicle blacklists
- Cooldowns, hourly limits and server-wide caps
- Optional repair kit item requirement
- Discord logging, job history and statistics
Every setting explains what it does in plain English. Change it while the server is running – no restart. Save named backups and restore them any time.
💰 Built for real servers
- Real mechanics come first – switch the NPC off automatically while player mechanics are on duty, so it never steals their income
- Society payout – send a share of every repair to the mechanic job account
- Prices are calculated server side, so they cannot be tampered with
- Full refund if the mechanic cannot reach you, gets stuck or the job fails
- Cancel with /mechanic cancel for a partial refund
- Target support – call the mechanic from a vehicle target option instead of a command
🛠️ Compatibility
- Frameworks: QBCore, Qbox and ESX – detected automatically, nothing to select
- Supports all major fuel systems (cdn-fuel, LegacyFuel, ox_fuel and more)
- Works with whichever target, inventory and vehicle keys script you already run
- 20 languages included
- Database tables are created automatically – nothing to import
Note: This is a fully scripted NPC system with pre-defined behaviour. It does not use artificial intelligence or connect to any third-party AI service.
